Black and white poster for an art event titled 'WAKE' with a cloud of powder or dust and explanatory text about the artists and event details.

Wake Exhibition

Wake was an exhibition of contemporary sculpture, sound, photography and performance in late summer of 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. It was a response to the architecture, objects, stories and history of Glynde Place and its inhabitants, inspired by a rare opportunity to work with the house in its ‘put to bed’ state.

Studio Lewis was asked to come up with a response to the concept of ‘Wake’ in the form of an ident that could be used across collateral to promote and inform. The idea of the explosion of white dust represents stillness bursting into life after a period of furlough, as well as a number of the pieces produced by the artist within the exhibition.
